What knife did you carry on your wedding day?

I think it was a camillus Heat, or maybe my spydeco native I switch so often.

Well, it was 1983 and I'm sure I had something in my pocket. But darned if I can remember what it was. Like Esav, I had other thoughts on my mind.

I don't remember what I carried on the day I got married but, I did carry a Spyderco Salt1 on my honeymoon to San diego.

18 years ago last month , I recall not carrying a knife at all that day..but did have a Colt 1991a1 compact in an Alessi Talon + holster behind my right hip.

:)

CONGRATULATIONS!!

I believe I had a small Sebbie with me.

Please don't take this as too personal, but I can't help but wonder. If, at your wedding, you were wearing a traditional bridal outfit, where did you stash the Sebenza?

When you carry a knife everyday anyway, why not? Are you seriously scared to carry a knife to a wedding?

Maybe as a guest, but carrying knife in wedding doesn't sound that harmonic. Weddings are supposed to be happy and peaceful and carrying a knife would just honestly be weird. But that's just my opinion.

Peace

most people here don't see a knife as a weapon. It's just another useful thing you have on your person, like a watch or a cell phone.

I used my Spyderco Police to cut up some wedding cake at my nephew's wedding 10 years ago. I wasn't going to use the cake knife that was all covered in icing & crumbs including the handle. People apreciated having me cut and serve them some cake too. At the next wedding I may be using a Spyderco Military.

There should be a law in all States that either the groom or the bride, or both, MUST carry a knife before the ritual can be completed. I am considering writing my Congressman.

While I didn't "carry" this knife per se. I did have it at the ceremony and put it to good use :D . A Busse Argonne Assault  .

And of course the Mrs had to get in on the act with a Busse Bolo

I went to a wedding of my girlfriend's childhood friend. I wore a full suit with tie and all the trimmings - very spiffy. What was on MY hip... HA, my Kershaw ZDP-189 Leek and CRKT M16-13M right behind it just in case things got a little too intense for the Leek.

Eventually on that humbling day when I go to the alter, I will wield either my Leek or maybe a Sebenza if I can afford one by that point. I liked the stories too about giving your groomsmen a knife. I think I'll follow suite... :-)

Cheers! And congrats on the "game over."

P.S. May God bless America, our troops, and all of your marriages...

I think a lot of the people on these forums carry a knife like they would put on a watch or grab their wallet. It would just be a natural thing to grab since they do it everyday. I understand that it's just you're opinion, but I read your last post to be a little on the judgemental side. I also don't see how carrying knife would change one from being "happy" or "peaceful", unless the individual associates other (negative) feelings to knives.

Regardless of your opinion, I don't find it necessary to use the  character. It just seemed a little inconsiderate of others who don't share your view.

My brothers wedding was yesterday. i carried my spyderco police. And my coldsteel mini pal which is always on my keyring.

I'm getting married today!!!

I'm going to carry my Kershaw Leek for the ceremony. I was just wondering what knife or knives did you guys carry for your wedding day.

Congrats, Varg Lobos! Yesterday was my seventh anniversary -- getting married to my lovely wife was the bet decision I've ever made.

Walking down the aisle, I toted a Victorinox Tourist (it's like a Spartan but more pocketable at 84mm). I figured I ought to be ready for anything. :D Carried the very same knife in my pocket during the births of both my children.
