What knife do you hate the most?

I just bought my first Spyderco, a Spyderco Delica, and I'm trying to like it because from what I read about it and what people say about it, and i am not liking it.

The handle is too thin and too skinny. It's really difficult to grip. The blade is sharp, but the spyderco signature blade shape I am not a fan of.

One summer at Boy Scout camp I used a carving knife on a Kachina Doll and wound up with a 3 inch gash in my leg. Another time I tried to use the main blade on a Boy Scout knife as a screw driver to fix a Coleman stove. Those are the 2 I hate the most.

Not a fan of recurve edges. I have a hard enough time sharpening as it is.

I'm not a huge fan of partial serrations anymore although quite a few of the knives that I have had for over a decade have them. With that said...when I purchased my ZT0200, I made the choice to get the serrations, why?

Because it has a recurve edge and I have a hard enough time sharpening as it is. LMAO!!

I don't "hate" anything, but I do also really have a dislike for Gerber.

I love Gerber's old USA offerings, but their knives today look like Flea Market junk. Just look at the Gerber Remix...... :thumbdn:

I hate recurved blades, blade "flippers", serrated knives, and those made with cheap steel.

:D:D:DAnyone who has any knives they hate can send them to me . Just drop a line on here and I will take all the pain and suffering for you.

enough with people posting the names of the knives they really like and saying, "I hate this knife because it's so awesome," then posting the real list of knives they hate.

Frost.. worthless knives

I am not a fan of my new Byrd Crow. No wonder Spyderco uses Byrd and not spyderco for the name!!!! Instant giveaway knife.

I reserve "hate" for things more deserving of that energy than a knife design I don't care for. However, I don't personally care for tanto shaped blades, cheap steel and those movie replica knives that are all flash and no substance.

Tantos, chisel grinds, serrations, autos, Gerbers, & anything "lightweight". I may not be an Olympic athlete, but I still don't see a problem carrying an 8 oz knife.

I dislike Tanto style blade designs, thumb holes on folders (I prefer thumb studs), serrations, cheap knives, anything made in China (Taiwan is okay with me), assisted opening folders and really cheap steel (like, less than AUS-8 or 440C, no matter how well it might be heat treated). That about does it for me.

Moras... they are so damn cheap and good and lightweight and I never get to carry my "better" fixed blades.

But in all seriousness... I hate the SOG Spyderclones. Lost all respect for this company.

Those old $5 Spyderco knockoffs with the plastic thumbstuds that are still around all these years later. People still buy them. The locks often border on being slip-joints.
