What knife do you have that had the worst factory edge?

Bought a cheap foreign made kukri to play with. It came so dull that if I didn't have a belt grinder I would have spent hours with a file before moving to a stone. It was thick steel and the edge was around 1/8th inch wide and radiused. Honestly I think it should have been labeled a handled blade blank, but I bought it because the reviews said it seemed to be made of thick carbon steel with a serviceable heat treat despite being under $20. That part was true, its a decent blade after a little belt grinder love. At least as good as the kukri machetes while looking a lot better.

Easy... Buck TOPS/Csar-T, the thing was ridiculously dull. The most disappointing knife I have ever purchased (for reasons other than the dullness).

Absolutely Paul. I got a Queen CSB Med Stockman in D2 some time back, bevel had to be close to 60 degrees. It is all good, it is down to 12ish and sings.

Worst I've gotten was the older Cold Steel machetes madein South Africa. The bevels didnt even meet. I hear the newer ones are better.

I bought two Buck Vantages, an Avid first, then the Pro in S30V because the Avid was a disappointment. They both came equally dull and both are terrible at holding an edge. Bos Heat Treat on a production knife has all but lost its meaning to me...sorry to say it.

Boker Outdoor I. Completely blunt when received.
Edit: This is the knife that taught me not to buy cheap knives.

Me too. Boker Magnum. Broke it on first use after spending way too much time just getting a 60 inclusive. Sharp as a trainer.

Busse. It was quite the sharpmaker battle. In retrospect, i shoulda sent it back.

A gpknives CPM m4 griptilian.........And it was hair popping sharp, so that's saying something.

Mini griptilian, that thing couldn't cut warm butter before I sharpened it.

My Martindale Bolo machete and CRKT M1610z. The M16 was reasonably sharp but not hair shaving sharp but the machete was dull (as I expected it to be). After about an hour with a file, it has a serviceable edge but it's not a hair popper but it still work fine for me.

The only factory edge I've been dissatisfied with in terms of sharpness was a BK11. It would year printer paper. As for edges coming too obtuse well at least 50% of factory edges seem to come that way.
