What knife from what brand led you to want/buy more knives from that brand.

The CS Trail Master. I bought a Carbon five model many years ago and then followed up with a bunch more Carbon Five knives then on to many other CS knives.

Spyderco had its place in my addiction as well. I bought a Delica then the Endura then the Pro-Grip and Native.

OH and then there is Buck:D

Believe it or not, a Rough Rider Peanut for $8.00 and change. Great little knife, bought more for gifts. Say what you will about Chinese knives, but this one is a winner.

A Benchmade 710 made me want to buy more banchmades.

A Strider MT (after I found it would take a really good edge) made me want more Striders.

A Small Damascus Sebenza made me want more damascus Sebenzas.

At first, it was Cold Steel's carbon V SRK and other carbon V fixed blades. Then it was Benchmade's Ascent which lead me to purchase their folders. And now its Spyderco's Military CPM D2 thats turning me on to their brand.

Benchmade Griptillian, Spyderco Delica and Kershaw Leek all led me to purchase more knives from those companies.

Bark River. Once I got one, compared to other fixed-blades I've owned and handled, I just had to get the "next one".

Bob Dozier General Camp and Hunting convinced me that Bob's knives were top drawer! :)

Northstar from Bark River did the same.

For folders:

710 D-2 from BM. Fell in love with the axis lock lock. Always loved D-2.:D:D

Kershaw Blackout - bought 7 more different models.
Spyderco Native III- bought 13 more Native variations and 8 other models
Chris Reeve Small Classic Sebenza- bought 5 more, large, small, regular, classic

Scrapyard SS4 to a lot more Scrapyards.

Spyderco Byrd to a Chinook3 and the SS serated Police I wanted for years.

I am afraid to buy a Barkie because of my addictive personality.

Spyderco Kopa Cocobolo led me to buy 9 more Kopas with various handle material and 20 + other Spydies so far.

A Spyderco Rescue got me hooked on Spyderco knives for a while.

The Buck 110 influenced me to buy an Alaskan Guide Buck 110 and, later, two Custom Shoppe Buck 110's.

The Kershaw Rainbow Leek lead me to buy lots more Kershaws-Ken Onion knives.

A 555 Mini-Griptilian opened the door to many more Benchmades.

The humble Victorinox Tinker was the first of many swiss army knives.

The purchase of a clearance priced Victorinox Champion 4 years ago led me down a path of more than 20+ Swiss Army Knives (I mean really how many do I NEED:D)

The purchase of a Leatherman PST resulted in the picking up more than 10 more LM multitools over the last 7 years.

The biggest "bite" by a brand happened in 2002 when I purchased my first Himalayan Imports 15" Villager model. 5 years later, I now have well over 40+ HI products (not including gifts given to friends). The Himalayan Imports Khukuri Virus (HIKV) hit me pretty hard:D

The Benchmade 970ti (designed by Emerson) started my addiction to both companies knives. I branched off and tried CS and Spyderco but that didn't last. If I ever end up with more money than brains, I'd love to have a Strider or Sebenza but that's a long way off on my meager public servant's salary.

My CRK Shadow III, I ordered my small Sebenza and it should arrive today.

I want a complete setup of CRKs.

Although buying my Emerson mini cqc7b and carrying that every day made me want more knives of quality.

When I was into production knives, Spyderco's did it for me. They make so many amazing knives. I was also Hooked on the Ritter Mini Grips too.

I AM still very much into Chris Reeve Knives. THAT is the only production knives I will buy.
