Earlier today used a Case SS Sod Buster Jr. to cut up a lot of cardboard.

Have found if the knife was sharp enough to start with cardboard won't hurt it in the least.

Vic Soldier. I can't believe I've overlooked SAKs for over 20 years! I gave them up when the small blade of an 8-tool model snapped closed and cut the tip of my thumb in two. That was in the military, and like a dick I waited until the following morning to have it sutured. Still can't feel shit with the tip of my right thumb.

Now I'm liking them mucho. Very sheeple friendly. Compare the Soldier with my SS Dragonfly - SAK looks more harmless even though the blade is much bigger!

Edited to correct: blade lenght is actually rather similar... duh.

Hey Rob, what model is that? I'm liking it because the blade is very similar in shape to one of my favorite EDC blades, the Ritter Griptilian. How big is it compared to the Dragonfly? Is the lock-up tight?

BTW, awesome pics as usual!

Thanks :-)

Still at work so it is my Kershaw tan Tyrade and a large Case Gunstock in orange G-10. Soon as I get home it will be my ZT0205 and Spyderco Persistence. Btw, my shirt pocket has a Leatherman Serac2 flashlight which is there work or play.:D

They are great pics! I tried to take a couple that captured the pale jade look of the translucent G-11, and couldn't do it.

I haven't held a Dragonfly, but the grip on the knife above, the Spyderco Leafstorm, is very similar to the Mini Griptilian. Unlike the Mini Grip, you can also grip it 4-fingered, which would be closer to your full-size Grip.

The blade is only 2 1/2 inches, but doesn't feel small at all when you're using it. It's been my EDC for a few weeks now.

Thanks for the insight. Actually I should correct myself as it's the Ritter Mini-Grip I have, not the full sized version. I scanned the Spyderco site and didn't see this knife but I'll try Googling the name to see if I can find it. Can you say what the price range is on this little bad boy?

EDIT: looks like this is still a prototype?

The Leafstorm is only available through dealers right now. And with a MSRP of $249.95, you'll want to find a good online source. They usually sell for around $150-$170 on the popular sites. But you're getting a USA made titanium framelock with G10.

Thanks again Rob, I'll go looking for it.
@ enderwiggin - is your handle the main character in Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game series? Sounds familiar for some reason but read the books too long ago to remember.

@ Orizondo - nice avatar. Keyra Agustina definitely has one of the nicest butts I've seen in a long time!
