What knife manufacturer do you trust the most to deliver a quality product?

I'm going to have to back into this one.
About the only poor quality knife I've received has been a CRKT (Columbia River Knife and Tool.) Everything else has pretty much been built to spec.

I have any number of knives which have a part of the design I don't care for. But that's the design, not the quality of the manufacturing.

Of the brands that I support with my wallet, all of them have good quality and support (CPK, Buck, CRK, Spyderco, Hinderer, GEC, etc.). I have never had to send a knife in though. Spyderco for me has not been better than the others (occasional issues like lock-stick, slow email responses, etc.).
Is CPE in your list?

I have never been disappointed in knives from White River, ESEE, Becker, or Victorinox. They have always been great quality and absolutely no issues. I like Buck and Spyderco for folders and have only had a couple over the years that weren’t quite 100%, so they are high on the list but not as high as the others I mentioned.

I have to shout out a few small makers too. I’ve had several knives from Tactical Pterodactyl, Knives by Nuge, and Deep Cuts Cutlery that were outstanding.

Last, but not least, is David Mary David Mary . I’ve only had one of his knives and I have another one on order. I have always heard nothing but praise for him and I understand why. The knife I received was top notch and I would recommend him to anyone. Sadly, the knife did not fit my fat hands and I sold it. David reached out and went above and beyond. He is building the exact same knife with the one little nitpicking change I wanted.

I don’t mean to cast shade, but I’ve had a few Spyderco’s that are NQR in more than just nit-picky ways, actually 1 each from Japan, Taichung, Golden, and Italy. I’m still a big fan of Black & Red though. Let’s just say my sample size has been ‘significant.’ 😁

I have a CRK that was a bit wonky when I got it, but they subsequently made it right. I was so happy with the experience that I bought another CRK shortly thereafter.

In retrospect, ZT has been most reliable for me from a QC/execution perspective, though I haven’t purchased one in 7-ish years.

I have a few Microtechs that are all pretty well executed, so no real complaints with them, but they get carried a lot more than they get “used.”
My sample size with other makers is too small to be meaningful.

Their folders can be hit or miss, but I like the Siwi fixed blade. Basically like a larger, beefier Esee Izula.

Spyderco, Cold Steel, Fox, Boker Solingen or Boker Argentina, Spartan, Buck. Those are some that I don't worry about quality wise when buying sight unseen.

I always worry with Case.

And yeah, Victorinox is probably the most consistent in their high quality. It almost makes the boring in that regard :).

I have bought two knives from Chris Reeve . . .twentyh plus years apart. Both were/are as good in terms of quality relative to their year of production, as any I have had.

I have EDCd some version of the Leatherman Wave since the mid 1990s. I have never had a quality issue with any of them.

I have had one experience with Randall Made. the knife itself was/is as good in terms of fit and finish as any on the market. However, I did have a deeply unsatisfactory response from them in terms of customer service. ChrisReeve has shown me that they have an interest in responsive, positive customer service.

I would note that both Leatherman and ?Chris Reeve organizations seem to be evolutionary , even innovative in terms of exploring what materials work best while Randall Made seems stuck in the designs, production methods and materials science of 1945.
