RosArms knives - I expected tham to be as anything which was "made in USSR". I bought one just fro curiosity - it has birch bark handle. But then I realize that it was build with pretty good quality, than I found out that steel is defenetely premium and after month of researches I found out that this is Russian ball bearing stainless steel used in aerospace and only analog West has - BG-42, which on my opinion 110x18MShd slightly superior to (due to more complicated manufacturing process).

This was really nice surprize. Also for me it was nice to see that Russia starts making premium quality products, at least it is not only Vodka now but also RosArms knives.

Plus they are just beautiful, see for youself:

Thanks, Vassili.

My spydie navigator II, little knife but does a great job. It's small enough, sometimes I carry it on my keychain.

Benchmade Vex. If the blade didn't say China, I think anyone would be hard pressed to tell the difference between it and knives that cost 3 times as much. I "could" carry a $400 custom, but the Vex is just good!

s&w search and rescue bowies. bought 2 with the intention of working and abusing them till they fell apart. 2 years of hard work and they havent broke yet. It surprised the heck outa me.

Opinel nr 8! Easy to sharpen, takes a very sharp edge. It is "sheeple" friendly. Nobody sees it as a weapon. Oh... it only cost me 5 euros:thumbup: .

Awhile back I got the Gerber special pack at Walmart that had a Paraframe and a small multitool with it, for like $14. Don't really use the multitool, but I use the Paraframe fro everything. Great knife for the money, IMO.

I got to say, I got a Paraframe 2-pack (para II and mini para). Two of the worst knives I've ever owned. But for whatever reason they are about the only knives I EDC... maybe because I wouldn't be too traumatized if they were lost or what-not...

Bradley Cutlery Alias II. Good ergonomics, extremely smooth opening, lightweight, good looks, wicked sharp. I use for general cutting chores, i.e., string, rope, tape, opening packages, cutting tie-wraps and I even use to cut up my top sirloin steaks. Very happy with it.

Buck Strider 889. Something under 50 and when I bought it I tried to break it but couldn't so I fell in love with it. Changed the blade angle and it is tought as nails. It is the reason I can't drop 10 times that much on a "real" strider.

Six bucks from SMKW. Fit and finish is on par with my Martindales that cost four times as much as the lowly Tram. Thin blade will take a hard contact with hidden cement without breaking in half. Will get sharp enough to cleanly cut through a 2" avacado branch with one hard swing. Worth way more than six bucks.
