Well, I must say, the wife won Christmas this year;

I musta been a good boy!? Who'd a thunk it!?

Spyderco Chubby
Spyderco Squeak

Chubby is the sharpest OOB knife I've ever felt.
The deep hollow grind is awesome.
My new favorite EDC!

I will get a pic up soon but my lovely wife bought me a custom Seax made from a salvaged file, it's beautiful. Made by a local maker with a wet formed leather sheath with big brass rivets. I'm beyond grateful after having first seen it last summer at a hand made event.

I got this from Santa........ Thanks Santa (Barman1)!!

I know the feeling... I've been looking for a straight razor from Sherman Cutlery Co. (Sherman & Co.) from Keyport, NJ in the early turn of the century, for the better part of over a year... I have some Jersey family keeping an eye out, auction sites set to notify me, email exchanges with a few different vendors in various places who sell a good amount of antique SR's, and yet I still have yet to even see one for sale, (though I know the company existed for about a decade, through old historic documents and advertisements)...

The hunt continues...

Nobody gifts me knives... they don't want to spend $1k+ ... LOL.

I gifted myself with 4 knives and a balisong trainer... approximately $1200 total this month. Couldn't help myself. The prices were right.
