What knife tunred you into a collector

I'd call myself more of an accumulator. The first collectable knife I bought was a beautiful Marbles stag handled Ideal with a stag pommel. I picked it up at a sporting goods store tha was selling it on consignment. This was back in the early 1980's. The craftsmanship just blew me away. I bought a few books and did some research. I ended up trading it away towards a 1970's Case blue scroll set complete in the case. I soon had a vast collection of traditional knives and a few customs. I just couldn't stand
having so many knives that I'd never use. I ended up trading my whole collection for guns. That's when I became a accumulator. I love knives and enjoy using them. I still buy some just for the purpose of reselling. If if I've decided not to use it,I end up selling or trading.it. I can honestly that I don't have an addiction for knives. I really look at at the practical application.

probably my toy lightsaber. I don't remember life before knives. I think the first knife I ever sharpened was an "old timer" my grandpa had. I was already hooked at that point.
