What knife turned you on to modern folders?

CooL thread, For me it was the custom market, "Brend folder"
formidable blade, ti liners and the size and width of the blade!
A.G russell Brute...still wow! AGRussell one piece folder. Gotta mention Round eye, Great knife, would have bought more


I've come full curcle and the soght after knife for me is the Spyderco Manix...someday

Benchmade model 600 Combat Talon (Bren collab)

carried it for about 3 years...retired now
 
Benchmade CQC, 975S in mid 90's when an AFCK was not "camp" knife.

Around ten years since CQC, many black handle folders came to me, I came back to CQC. Got two 970S's, and they'll last for my lifetime.

If a pocket clip were not required, my first, favorite folders were/are balisongs.
