What knife was your first "flipper"?

Kershaw Spec Bump. Still have it too.

Kershaw Mini Cyclone. Love the fact that you can toggle the assist on or off. Because I prefer it manual. Will post a pic a bit later just for fun.

Kershaw Composite Leek BW. Fantastic little knife, but I ended up trading it away for something beefier.

The first in each category

wrist flip opening - Gerber gator

First knife with an actual flipper - Kershaw boa

first flipper with bearings - CRKT aluminum ripple

Mine was a CRKT M16 Carson Flipper - I am thinking around 10 years ago... in my opinion the first "true flipper"...

Gerber Applegate Fairbairn Combat and Covert, I bought them and the Boker Dagger when they first came out. I used and abused the snot out of them, I have since replaced the Gerbers with a new versions.

My first was the SOG Vulcan and I picked up the Mini-Vulcan when they first came out. Loved them at first, but I have moved on. Flippers aren't my thing really. I have not bought one since.

It appears that Kershaw and Zt are the most popular flippers. Doesn't anyone carry a butterfly knife anymore?

First knife that I flipped open constantly was my Kershaw 1431 G10 Wild Wild Turkey. First knife with an actual flipper was a CRKT M16. Favorite flippers now are my 0780 and 0562CF/0801 (tie).

Spyderco tenacious....affordable, reliable, still my "house knife".

Woops flipper" you say. ZT 0350

A Kershaw Packrat was my first. It was also what brought me to this site.
