What knife would be your "Armageddon" knife?

Nice looking HI there. What model it is?

And one more question, who is the anime girl in your avatar?

Thanks.

Answering the OP. I would take the largest blade I can carry, possibly a two handed Jian. If limited only to knives a large HI Kukri.

I love this knife because of the expedient bottle opener.

I'd roll with a BK9 or my 10" Khukuri.

"Armageddon"? Knife? One? For survival and self defense?

If SHTF, Im grabbing the Saiga 12, AK, Glock, and all the ammo I can take. A sword will probably be your best bet for self defense, but is probably not good for anything else, and its a little cumbersome to carry, considering all of the other stuff you have to carry.

But, thats a tough one. I dont think there's a 1 knife do all type knife. You need at least 2-3 different knives.

A big chopper, like a kukri or axe. Then a smaller fixed blade knife, like a RAT RC3/4, Fallkniven F1/S1, Bark River Bravo1, or the like. And a pocket knife or multitool to round it all out.

Tankgirl and Revy TwoHands from Black Lagoon are probably meanest gun weilding females in comic history... I kinda dig Revy's way of weilding two custom Bereta 92's ^^

Cpl Punishment: That Kukri is really nice. Makes me want to have Kukri too

If the world went to hell and you had to leave your comfy home and survive in the wilderness and could only take one blade what one would it be? It can be any knife you want. You dont have to currently own it. Itd have to be a knife for survival and self-defense.

I've got one of those hilltop fortress deals so its very unlikely I would be run out. But I'll assume I've been run out of my home with only what I could carry. I've had to leave behind my M1A, 870 and other heavy stuff.

For me that means an 8 mile night hike through foothills to the San Gabriel mountains, well, whatever hasn't been recently burnt. I would take my Marlin 60, my S&W Model 41 and about 2500-3000 rounds of CCI SV .22LR ammo, water and water filter, some mountainhouse backpack food and my Busse SAR8 LE (which I purchased about 10 minutes ago lol).

I would move at night, TOTALLY avoid people and mostly concern myself with getting a few quail or rabbits and locating sources of water and keeping out of sight.

Either my EDMF Smatchet or my Swamprat Chopweiler.

Of course I could never see myself without at least 1 SAK and another folder (usually Spyderco) in my pockets.

I thought about saying "my Randall 12-13 Raymond Thorp Bowie," but it's actually not the most practical thing in the world. Guess I'd go with the 11" Confederate Bowie instead.:)

Right now I'd have to go with my Leatherman, it would be the most helpful when trying to hotwire a tank.

You'll never get past the zombies at night! ;)

Obviously I'd want a magic sword, but barring that, I guess a 14 to 16" bolo in the toughest edge-holding steel I could find.

I'll post a pic of my Matt Lamey War Cleaver when it gets here. If I'm mounted it goes with. On foot it's the Benchmade Nimravus 140. And my Leatherman Micra, of course, and the Leek. You gotta have a folder too...uh oh.... :-)

Against zombies? A chinese meat cleaver that has been heat treated with" ancient chinese secret " and that attached to 2 feet long pole ^^

Only one? I love large blades, so I'd be leaning towards a busse battle mistress, or a swamprat rodent waki. Equally good for trees or zombies!

Well Since I don't have a Busse my next choice is: I will still want my Seb and Umnumzaan.

lol, actually bugging out is something on alot of peoples minds in s.cal lately. People here are concerned because there has been lots of small/medium earthquakes lately. There have been 34 major water main failures from Long Beach to San Fernando since Sept. 1st. and the city doesn't know why.

That is some good genuine tin-foil-hat information right there, you can't just get that anywhere. :D
