I would tale a big knife as the fallkniven S1 for hunting and fishing and camp. I would use it to wittle a sturdy spear and a heavy stick for the self defend part. Also a shovel is good if fighting.

If the world went to hell and you had to leave your comfy home and survive in the wilderness and could only take one blade what one would it be? It can be any knife you want. You dont have to currently own it. Itd have to be a knife for survival and self-defense.

Did some one say armageddon? More affectionately termed around my household as "when it comes" I think I'm ready. Primary rifle and side arm 7.62 Nato (.308) Springfield Socom 2, with .45 Kimber Desert Warrior, Secondary set, AK 7.62X39 and Springfield XD 9MM. Busse Nuculear Meltdown FBM and NM SFNO, Ash1 and HG-55 Mil-Overrun. Lots of bullets and gear as well.
