What knife would you choose...

1st) Pick the right weapon for the fight....1st for me AR50 BMG, end the matter with my new little Kershaw Chive thats Boron Carbide coated, which is a known Anti-Zombie deterant

well until one hand gets bit off, i might as well weild two blades -- say, a Trace Rinaldi Armageddon and a Busse HOGFSH... as someone pointed out, using too long a blade leaves you too clean... It's good to get all wet when dispatching zombies... getting soaked in zombie body fluids is part of the "total immersion" experience that keeps us in contact with our more primal selves... or uh, something.

if you get zombie fluids on you or in your eyes/mouth, dont you turn into a zombie as well? or is that if the zombie bites you? or is that only vampires?

i recently saw the zombie documentary "dawn of the dead" and i think the zombie bites turned people into zombies.

and btw, they mostly discussed the fast moving ones.:)

No need to wonder - just buy a copy of The Zombie Survival Guide. :D :D

my weapon of choice would be a pink victorinox 58mm classic, the zombies would die of fear when that wmd is pulled out. and if any zombie would actually survive the sight of it (but i kinda doubt it tho) id just threaten them with the nail file..

I would take a frost cutlery folder and tape it to the spiked bumper of my zombie proof armored car. . . then I would run them all over and crush their tiny melons.

HI is specialized in Anti-Zombie stuff.
Just use the search engine and type "zombie" in HI.

That with a wooden spiky Chakma and a Steel-silver alloy Karda.

Ultimate undead survival kit :)

Something made by Dark Ops. Between the serrations designed for getting into helo cockpits, and the Hummer penetrating tips, I'm sure they make an undead resistant steel with a soul crusher in the pommel!

Dark Ops??
I thought they were only good for covert deanimation? Wouldn't this be
de-reanimation?

Hmmm, how about a nice pole arm? Something with a big friggin blade on the end....thinking 6ft badass German.....hell, how about throwing in the badass German to swing it while I set up the claymores. :D

If it had to be a knife then I suppose a Kuk.....and a mace in the other hand. COME GET SOME!!!

As lame as this whole premise is, I would have to agree on the Armageddon. After seeing Ron Hood cut frozen Elk leg bones, and what I have personally done with an Arm I would tend to agree.. It never runs out of bullets.HA!
How come people are afraid of Zombies and not Liberals?;)

Zombies/liberals same thing although the zombies have an excuse for being brain dead. As for a blade either an 18" or 22" convexed ontario d guard machete cheap so I can get a few of them and easy to sharpen. But if you have a decent fence around your house the romero zombies cant get in your yard, the super zombies from the new Dawn of the Dead and 28 Days Later your not gonna want to get that close to cause they move way too fast. The super zombies show up I'm finding a bunker and staying there. The reason I'd go with the 18" is your gonna probably do some extremely close quarters work in halls and buildings you might want to go even shorter so maybe even a 12" but thats as short as I'd go I'd probably carry both one for indoors and one for outdoors. Oh yeah please dont set them on fire all you'll do is manage to make an undead torch that will stink and run around burning your city down :)

How hard are zombie bones, should I be wary of edge roll? Are we taking into account that a blade steel like S30V may chip if struck against a hard part of the zombie's body? I wonder if I should go with carbon steel, but will the zombie blood rust the edge? Maybe D2 would be a good compromise, but I would not want it in too big of a blade (may be too brittle for chopping). Can you baton a zombie? Because then I could go with a medium sized fixed blade, and only have to carry one knife instead of multiple knives designed for specific task. Alright, I have it, I need more than one knife: A Ranger RD9 for chopping zombies, and other heavy duty zombie deanimation techniques. Then a Queen Mountain Man (not too tactical looking for when I'm around the Shombies (kinda like sheeple only more possesed) with a D2 blade for medium duty cutting task such as beheading of zombies that I already killed with the RD9. Then also an Opinel no. 9, this lightweight blade would be great for slicing task such as cutting the soft armour from a soldier that has been turned into a zombie before destroying it with the RD9, it can also be used to baton a zombie in a pinch. I think I got all my bases covered with this awsome (and very well balanced) zombie deanimation trio.

I would tape a knife to my sawed off dbl barrel side-by-side Winchester (that I would definately have if zombies were around) which would constitute my knife as an even bigger and badder knife. The rest you all can figure out.
