What knife would you give James Bond for his next mission?

The 25th James Bond movie is coming out in the U.S. this weekend, so I figured this would be a fun topic. Bond has had a lot of gadgets over the years, some really cool and high-tech, some just plain goofy. The Daniel Craig films have seen Bond using more simple and realistic gadgets and tools, and Bond has used plenty of knives in the past films (and books). He even used what appeared to be a Gerber 06 auto in the climax of the last film, Spectre.

So here's my question to you: You're working in Q branch and you need to give 007 a knife for his next mission. What are you going to give him?

The only rule I'm going to make, is that it has to be a real knife, no wacky SAKs with flamethrowers, chainsaw machetes, lightsabers or anything like that. Otherwise, let your mind run wild, it can be anything from the cheapest mass produced wally world knife, to the most expensive custom in the world. There are no wrong answers.

As for my pick, I would go with the ProTech Harkins D/A. It's very classy, with an old-school tactical feel. It appears to be just a regular folding knife, but it has a hidden automatic deployment feature. It's suave, sophisticated, and secretive, just like James Bond.

James Bond is dead mate. As it is I never really cared for Craig but now that they caved in to the woke mob it is over for me. If it was back in the good old days I'd have given him an Aitor Vivac. But, I'd have changed the tools in the handle for something more useful.

no jokes hear! but I would love to see him pack a CRKs sebenza 21, not the fastest but its reliability counts for something.

A smatchet...🙃
For slicing chores: he would use his titanium ballpoint pen; that also has a laser in it...

I can see the character carrying something classy and timeless, while still effective and reliable in the field.

Maybe a CRK with an engraving of Big Ben or a concealed pen dagger in a burl wood cover.

Leatherman Wave…may as well give him something that he can use to defuse that next doomsday weapon.

There's a difference between what I would give James Bond and what he would use in a film.

What I would give him is this.

(And since he is now retired, and is allowed to change his habits, I would switch him from poorly made Martinis to single malt Scotch, straight).
