What knife would you use to kill a bear?

After a few shots of course!

One that was dull and kind of rounded so it wouldnt hurt so bad when he shoved it up my a$$!--KV

Exactly. LMAO:D

This guy was balls out lucky.

It is a widely accepted courtesy to the bear to carry a 2.5 - 3" blade that he can use to pick what's left of you out of his teeth.

Why kill the bear? I can go fishing and share my catch of salmon. Then, once we became buddies, he could help steal some picnic baskets.

But then again, if he didn't play nice, in goes the Rodent Waki.

Hmm, if we rationalize based on UK knife laws, any knife with 3.1"+ blade and a lock should be dangerous enough for any living creature within its vicinity. Okay, okay, off topic. Here's what I would use:

I KNOW the pen is mightier than the sword, but, but ... you would use a plastic marker?

I'm no expert on defensive techniques on animals or on animal anatomy, but I would guess anything big enough to stab deep, and make cuts large enough to cause a lot of blood loss? I don't know how to answer this one.

I wouldn't want to defend myself from any attack, two-legged or four-legged, with a knife, but a knife would sure be better than throwing rocks, I guess.

thx - cpr

You hold the bear down, and I'll kill it with my pocket knife. You can trust me.. He he he.

The mighty Peanut slip joint, riding in the glove box of the pick up truck that hit the Bear. :D
