What knives are you thinking of buying next?

Although, I just pruchased a Ranger RD-4, which I haven't even touched yet, I am already thinking of my next knives.

1. Marbles Sport, just got to give it a try.
2. Fallkniven F-1
3. BRKT Fox River, When I get more money.
4. RAT-3
These are my top Four. The funny thing is they are all the same size. :confused:
 
These are what I would like to get. Nothing really fancy.

Leuko/puukko combo (Large blade w/smaller attached to sheath) Brand??
Kershaw Outcast
Bark River Teddy or Sandstorm
 
In order:

Spyderco Aqua Salt fixed blade w/PE
Bark River Northstar or Fox River (still haven't made up my mind).

Of course, slipjoint pocket knives are not included in "what knife next" lists. They are bought on impulse and can not be planed for. I know... its a weakness...:o

This is such an agonizing question for me. I'm not an impulse buyer, but there are so many great knives out there that I just seem to keep hesitating on purchasing something until I make up my mind.

Top of my list are the following combinations, but my choices of which one seem to change from day to day:

1) BRKT Bravo-1 (somewhat preferred) or Canadian Special
2) Mini-Canadian or a nice little finnish blade like this one: http://www.ragweedforge.com/wj-j.jpg
3) Wetterlings hatchet

OR cheaper combination

1) Ontario Rat-3 or RC-3
2) Ontario Rat-5
3) Wetterlings Hatchet

OR

1) Fallkniven F1 or BRKT Woodland Special
2) Fallkniven S1
3) Wetterlings again

If I had more money I'd love to consider:

1) Busse Game Warden
2) Bravo-1
3) Gransfors Bruks Hatchet

More or less in that order, though the puukko is almost certainly in my future.
 
My mind is pretty focused right now on Jerry Busse's upcoming offering:

-Anniversary Steel Heart-1

He'll probably make both a Limited Edition and a Combat Grade (coated steel). They'll both be INFI. I'll have to have a few of each. :D

And that'll be all I can afford for awhile...


[But eventually, I'll have to get back to that Hinderer XM-18 and something tactical in a Hossom!]

knives i would like to buy if i hit the lottery, dietmer kresslar chute knife ,kellam kp tommi triple set, case tony bose set(5 knives i believe), bob dozier loveless knife(wicked nice), etc., etc.

A whole mess of Spydercos
Himalayan Imports 12" Ang Khola
One of the various Japanese knives that always catch my eye in the A.G. Russell catalogs.
 
just got a vic farmer for 27 bucks, shipped (hasn't arrived yet though)

next will be a BK-2 companion as soon as Becker comes back :)
or possibly a Fallkniven F1 if I find a hundred bucks lying on the street tomorrow ;)

well i tried to order a rat-3 from a website suggested by someone on here. quanity said 2 when i ordered and 2 days later i get an email saying that it was out of stock...
how cool is that!?!!?!:rolleyes:

Update: they raised the price of the knife $10 since i ordered and had the audacity to ask me to pay the difference! who the hell do they think they are!

Opinel that is smaller than a No. 8, probably a No. 6

An 1/8" thick Ontairo Machete for heavier work and to complement my Tramontinas (maybe the 18" with orange handle or maybe the Beavertail, which I just saw and seems like a good compromise since it would be as compact as a 12", but have more chopping power.)
 
It has been a couple weeks since my last purchase so I'm jonesin' for a new knife. I should really concentrate on getting pants for the knives I already have, but when craving overrides common sense I'll probably pick up one of the following:

Ranger RD9
Grohmann #1 (almost seems like it shoud be my patriotic duty to get one of these)
HI Chiruwa Ang Khola
Buck 119 (affordable, readily available and I've wanted one since I was a kid. Why don't I have one already?)
A bag of assorted Moras
 
Old model A1, plain VG10.
Old model H1, plain VG10.
Becker or any of those other popular knives that is often compared to the F1.
Any old model F1.
Black S1 (this is to be a user).
A box of Mora 780.
A cute BRKT
Any Fallkniven I can get my hands on that is not yet in my collection.
