What knives did you use today? What did they accomplish?

I used my BM Rift to cut through a hydraulic line and then as a pin to hold a hydraulic cylinder up because I was too stupid to have the bolt within arms reach. Safe to say, the blade needs some tlc.

ZT 0200 was carried as primary defense tool since I could not carry my gun in the stadium.

Thankfully, they were only carried today, and did not have to be used.

Remember Paris...and be patient and aware.

I used my ZT 0200 to cut a long wire that was hanging off of/dragging on a dumpster that I picked up.

They accomplished nothing but i enjoyed all the same :D

Honestly though I just fondled em, so i guess they accomplished personal gratification?

Tested a Bloodshark Knife by 'Tracker Dan

I field dressed a bull elk with a Crotts drop point, then I used my PM2 to cut the hock where I tagged him. When I got home I used the custom skinner I had Dan build me to skin him, I also used a cheap gerber gator fixed blade with S30v to do the dirty work around the bones. Last but not least I caped him with the little Crotts bird and trout.

I am retired so I did this at home yesterday.

I used one of my BUCK PakLite skinner knives to cut open a new C's box of media and liquid cleaner for my husband's tumbler. He has two different tumblers to clean his 'brass'.

I haven't used any of my knives today and I didn't use any of them yesterday either. But that's not unusual. I work in an office and I rarely have need of them. My Micra and a pair of ordinary office shears get most of the work I need doing done. But all of my knives accomplish a lot even on the days I don't use them. I just feel better knowing they're there. :)

Doesn't that bug you? I'm usually in the same boat though, I rarely need my knives but I love having them there "just in case". I'll go out of my way to find something to use them for

Time to fire up the wood stove. Made some kindling with the Junglas this morning.
