What knives do ya really like but know ya shouldn't ?

Pit, just because they're not practical to you and me doesn't mean they're not practical for some others.. Nothing wrong with that TOPS knife:thumbup:

I like the look of Striders and Extrema Ratio knives:D
I like really big modern tactical folders for some reason:o

Expensive ones.;):D
Seriously though. Airkats and Balis. OK, Cold Steel too.:o

Wouldn't use it for a damn thing and honestly think they are kinda silly but I've always wanted one of these:

blackhawk tatang

I saw the "copy" of it in modern warfare 2 and loved it, I just have no practical use for it.

Swamp Rat Waki. Cool as hell, fun to swing around, would chop great with a thinned out edge and could pull machete duty better than my Dogfather. Still though, I can't think of many situations where I'd need a sword on me. :D

What about last resort Zombie killing?

Gerber Profile, typical crappy Gerber QC and steel, but the crappy rubber grip fits my hands perfectly and I love the blade design. Used it in survival school a LONG time ago, edge has been chipped folded rolled and smashed in every sort of way and I always manage to put a razor sharp edge back on it. It's sadly one of my favorite all time beater knives...

Original Lile hollow handle knives. I have no real use for them and they are expensive as hell---but I'd still like a couple!

DancesWithKnives

SOG Bowie, Tops Anaconda, Randal 1. All big knives I'd never actually carry, but that I love the look of.
Chopping with knives: fun, but something I've never had the need to do. I carry a saw.

I love my Ka-Bar Next Gen. Some folks would tell you that the 440A steel is junk and that the design is too big to be handy and too small to be useful as a large knife. Some say that Kraton handles are too soft and tacky for prolonged use. It doesn't matter to me. My wife got this for me for our first Christmas and the 440A steel will really surprise you. It is quite easy to refine and holds a working edge long enough. The handle works in all grips. Yes, the size is sort of a compromise but this thing just works.

This one:

Its a little on the tactical side. Made of 420HC instead of the super steel of the day. Its a bit long for cutting/short for chopping but. It doesn't cost $500. Not even $100, yet, I must have one.

It'll be my after Christmas gift.

I really want a knife with a tanto tip. I can't tell you why I want it and I really don't have much use for one. But still I want one.
