What knives do ya really like but know ya shouldn't ?

This one goes against everything I usually look for in a knife, yet I am still drawn to it:

Big Honkin' Bowies. Like I need more safe queens. And yet, it's like...I NEED that.

Thank God I'm not married...

My Randalls, I wish I had had a clue when bought them (back when you could walk in the shop, chat with Bo and buy whatever was in the case and there were always a couple of dozen in the case). I really wish I had bought one of those Smithsonian or Confederate Bowies but $300 seemed like a lot then, duh!

The Pendulum in " the Pit and the Pendulum" movie. There is something about an automatic Ulu...

Hey, crossada. Stop it!
That beautiful picture (and other pictures repeatedly posted to
Custom sbforum) made me like this. :D

Bowies are the spirit of freedom coming from early America.
If I was born and grown up in America, I should have obtained it already.

I'm Japanese and have a pair of sword inherited from my ancestor.
Those should be enough for me.
But this does not change the fact that I love Bagwell Bowies.
the customs arena is what made me pull the trigger too. JParanee posting all those bowies was too much for me so i called Bill and placed an order. Then i placed another order:o:)

i would love to see pics of the swords if you have pics handy

thanks

the busse battle mistress comes to mind. a very nice knife, but its wayy to expensive for me to even think of owning one. ill just stick to my scrapyard.

G'day Pit

I can honestly say that I have never been drawn to a knife I won't use :D

As such, I buy what I know I will use & don't buy what I won't

BTW, merry Christmas to you & yours :thumbup:

Kind regards
Mick

I think Relentless Knives USA runs the game for having the most exotic and somewhat practical fixed blade designs.
I don't have any pics, but their website is www.relentlessknives.com. (Check it out)
---They originally developed the blade for the most recent Punisher movie and then sold the rights to TOPS, who now produces the "M4X Punisher". ($170)
---In my opinion, it's one of the best looking "movie" blades (even though it has very little screen time), and it seems to have some practical use as well.

Relentless makes about 50 different sizes and variations of this knife, which are all very attractive, but WAY overpriced.

the first punisher was so much better IMO. you get to see him use a compound bow , customized .45s and an emerson , among other knives to dispatch henchmen :)

Byrd Cara Cara. Its a strong knife and gets sharp but I hope to replace it with a real Spyderco.

I agree. I really liked Dolph Lundgren in the role.

I liked all three Punishers, but the Thomas Jane one was probably my least favorite.

Back on topic, I would love to have the TOPS version of the punisher knife just to show people when they come over.:D

Brian Goode Camp Digger, WSK and Fiddleback Bow Leg Chopper. Just because I can't afford them and don't have that much chopping to do, but they are the coolest looking big knives I've seen.

I have had one of these for over 10 years. The handle doesn't fit my hand that well, it bulky and kinda clumsy for a hunting/skinning knife. Is a bit light for even a light machete. But I can snap it on my belt on the way out the door or getting out of the truck. It's designed as a diving knife as I recall so rust is not a concern and as far as holding an edge, well it's a buck. Plus i read there were a limited amount of them made. So even tho there are alot of things I don't like about it, nevertheless it's been down many a trail with me.

Custom Loveless 4" dropped hunter with red liners and green canvas Micarta and BG42 steel
Beck WSK
Brian Lyttle folder like in the movie "The Edge"

...the list could go on and on. The rest of my needs are completely reasonable! :)

blackhawk tatang

I saw the "copy" of it in modern warfare 2 and loved it, I just have no practical use for it.

Whoever designed that was a big fan of the old Pacific Cutlery (Pre-Benchmade) WeeHawk Boot Knife, that's all that Tatang really is...a call back to the WeeHawk.
