What knives do you plan on getting in 2010?

Not a knife, but I wouldn't mind getting either a Bark River Camp Ax, or a Gransfors Outdoor Axe.

Emerson a-100
Kershaw spec bump
BM 940 in green
Rat Izula folder
Spyderco military in orange
BM mini grip

Some serious wish lists! Working with a custom maker in Argentina, will pick that up in May I hope. What I really want is a custom slipjoint, got my eye on a couple of guys on here

Looks like 2010 could be a "slow" knife year for me, my son got accepted into the Engineering Program at Virginia Tech next fall. I do have a small JK on the books for next month though.

been on a Bark River kick. Plan on getting:
Bravo 1
Camp axe
lil Canadian
Kephart FT
Aurora
Probly wont get all this yr but hopefully a couple.

Well,my other plans got postponed,I'm buying an unused FFBM off a fellow forum member.I guess I've finally succumed to the Infi sickness, held off as long as I could!

The new Cold Steel Recon I lockback. Maybe one of the new Kershaw China made folders for oversea's travel.

First one already purchased a W.R. Case small toothpick - yellow handle - CV steel - for office carry (weapon free zone).

Want to start my collection of Buck fixed blades with a 118 or 116.

I'm glad I give myself a month between buys to make my next choice! My last purchase was a large African Blackwood inlaid Sebenza on the 22nd of December. The last of December and the first of January I had in mind to get an Umnumzaan. I also had talked with Tim Galyean about a mid-tec Lahar. Both of these are still on the list, but this month I have to spend a little bit less than I have been spending, in order to take care of a couple of unexpected items. I decided to set my budget at $300, or a little over if the item was really worth it. Now the 21st is slowly arriving and I have finalized my choice's.

Ever since I took the chance on the Boker Titan Defender, a $400 purchase:eek:, and found it to be everything I expected and then some, I had been thinking about the Applegate Folding Dagger. I've been looking at these for longer than I looked at the Titan Defender, but just never bought it. Last year Boker brought out a newer version of the AFD, with the pocket clip being mountable in one of 3 positions, along with some other changes. When I first saw it I wanted it, and now a year later I will be getting it. I'm aware that it is very "tactical" looking and probably would not work well around some people, but a lot of times I only use my small knife for day in and day out chores, with my other one never getting any use. But to answer your next question of , "well why carry it then?" I still carry one because I love knives, I like to have a quality knife in my pocket, and because it just feels right! Just like with the CRK&T Hisshou I bought, I have no use for it but I like it and sometimes reason or usability just do not factor in on a knife buy. Anyway, I asked the dealer I buy from to get me one and it came in today, to the dealer. I will be getting it next Friday or Saturday. I am really looking forward to it. Here is a link to Knifecenter to show the knife, although this is not where I'm getting it;

I am also picking up another flashlight:eek::eek:, like I need another, but then I must need another or I wouldn't be getting one......I love logic!! Going to get a Fenix Titanium MiNi which runs off of one 123CR and puts out 189 Lumens on hi. It is only 2.3" in oal. Here is a pic of it from Knifeworks, which is where I'm getting it along with the Boker. Richard, Kaylee, and Ashley are great people to work with!
