What knives, gear etc. do you hope Santa brings?

i'm trying not to ask for anything this year, i don't really need anything i can't buy for myself, and my parents have my two younger siblings to buy for...

i did already get some $ in early cards though, which will probably be going towards a new axe or a new tarp.

My wife is getting me a Delta SA180 1x42 sander and I'm hoping to have every edged tool in the house as sharp as siguy get them. I've got a bit of practicing to do from what I've heard from some of you on the forums.

For a late giftmas present, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a Koster BushMaster. That'll be some knife to put to work!

Other than that I hope I get some new Smartwool socks.

i don't think that santa will be bringing me much this year in the way of gear or knives.... but it's all good... my kids will still be getting lots of cool stuff...

Same here:o

But it is always fun watching my daughter open her gifts and we get to use a knife to unpackage the toys. Some of those things require a chainsaw though.

i got a cold steel trailmaster san mai today, & have a scrapyard MOD7 & swamp rat rat hunter enroute, along w/ a olight t10 q5...
i bought them myself so it is no suprise...

no kids but my buddies kids did pretty well according to the wife

edit***

she did by me a case trapperlock in CV for my stocking

I am hoping to get .. well anything the way the economy is. I'll like whatever I get.

Of course, ti is always more fun watching my brother open his presents. I am past the point of me getting much more than what I buy myself and a pair of socks =/.

Already got my gift. We had kind of an early Christmas and now I know how to use the thing to actually take pics on the day... I got a new Canon camera.

I am buying myself a few things (I always do), I'm most excited about my new pack, the Snugpak Rocket Pack with the extra yoke. Hope to have it loaded up and ready for a January trip I have planned.

No outdoor stuff for me this year (Except the Skookum I bought myself, which is still not here yet :()
I got an Ipod Classic off the missus. 120GB of Rock Power!

That's a lot of music in there! Better get downloading Chinpo!

I lust for those Skookum knives. Really beautiful blades. Enjoy it!

I would like a Photon Freedom, a Surefire A2, an Izula, and some warm wool socks. I'm a simple guy.

That is one sweet jacket...do you mind if I ask where I could find one?

As for Christmas, I got an oval hoof knife and a clinch cutter-only bladed things we could afford. I also got a new 2lb sledge for shaping horse shoes. I still have to get the wife's present. She's getting a wall mounted jewelry case and I'm building her a TV stand for over the fireplace, I put the TV up there in June so I guess I should get the stand finished huh. Our 8 month old is loading up though and all our neices and nephews got something too.

I personally agree with the Christmas is for the kids to get presents and adults to get to spend a day with family.

Merry Christmas
David

It's a Guide Gear leather jacket from sportsmansguide.com. They go for about $70USD. From all the reviews I read, seems like a decent little coat for the crazy low money.

I've dropped many hints to those around me this year...

If I get anything close to the number of things I've hinted at, I'll be amazed---I just like so many knives it's impossible not to at least give it a shot despite tough economic times. :D

I've hinted at many things...a yellow-handled Benchmade Mini RSK, a Boker Subclaw, something from Case in CV, a Baliyo, all sorts of camping and survival gear...I'll be placing myself another order from Dozier with my Christmas bonus, I think, and also use some of the money for the W&SS Koster neck knife.

Whatever I receive, I'm just glad to have a warm house and a great family.

Merry Christmas and wishes of the same to all of you.
