What led you to Blade Forum

I can't remember why, but I was idly browsing online looking at things like knives for the first time. I saw a cold steel LTC Khukri and thought it looked sort of interesting.
A bit of googling later and I ended up on BF - can't remember if it was an LTC review thread or the HI forum which was my first BF 'experience' but it was definitely one of those two.

I lurked for a while on HI's forum before signing up and slowly branching out towards lurking on the other forums here.

I'm old enough that I grew up with a pocketknife. It was expected then. Bought a Randall #2 in 1951 when going to Korea. Randall gave me a two week delivery and I still bless them for that. Still have it.
In 1970 I saw an article in Guns & Ammo about a guy named Bob Loveless that was basicly redesigning and remanufacturing S&W Model 41 target pistols into a gorgeous field pistol. Ordered one in December '70 and it was delivered December '74. Got a semi-skinner to go with it.
The pistol came while I was recovering from a heart attack and bypass surgery. Wonderful, 'cause I was walking miles every day in the woods.
Not really a collector but appreciate beauty.

I still enjoy seeing the crafts of a fine knifemaker!

I was doing some research on vintage Gerber knives and found this place. I stayed...I liked the view.
