What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

From what I can see , that was a pretty good deal . But we see ONLY HALF of it . Really like Russells and the great history .

That Barlow caught my eye. The bone is really amazing. Pretty solid knife too! You guys should have seen the gunk coming out of it when I first oiled it….
The action on the main blade is beyond awesome... super solid and snappy.
I oiled the joints, put a good edge on it, and it's serving pocket duty today... Love It!!!
 
How did I miss this photo ????? GREAT to see that you have a representative of each size Barrett . This Red & Blacks came out great I think .

Thanks, Harry. I have a few #25 Barlows, as well, but didn’t include one because I don’t have a single clip that would’ve matched the others (they’re all spearpoints). 🙂

The red and black Micarta is pretty nice. :thumbsup:
