What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

From what I can see , that was a pretty good deal . But we see ONLY HALF of it . Really like Russells and the great history .

Thanks, that one is a TSA Trestle Pine. Come to think of it I believe that it was my first barlow.

That Barlow caught my eye. The bone is really amazing. Pretty solid knife too! You guys should have seen the gunk coming out of it when I first oiled it….

The action on the main blade is beyond awesome... super solid and snappy.
I oiled the joints, put a good edge on it, and it's serving pocket duty today... Love It!!!

Thanks, Harry. I have a few #25 Barlows, as well, but didn’t include one because I don’t have a single clip that would’ve matched the others (they’re all spearpoints).

The red and black Micarta is pretty nice.
