This Boker Solingen Barlow is the closest I've come so far to my ideal Barlow, and it's a delightful little knife. F&F is top-notch, and after I flushed the joint the walk and talk is too. It's right up there with the GECs I've owned in terms of execution.

When I soaked Old Boiley in vinegar, in 2013, it raised the grain, so I sanded it lightly to smooth it out, losing the "sawcut" in the process!

Agreed, Dwight!!!

Bill used to enjoy pulling my leg!! At the Rendezvous in 2017, he presented me with a handful of Caplifter Barlows, after I had informed him a caplifter in a Barlow was not authentic (some months before!!)
I have since relented from my stubborn stance, but I appreciated the joke at the time!!
CNRFCL means "Charlie Not Responsible For Cap Lifter"!!
Note, the Barlows were a Special Assembly from 2015 parts!!
