Huh?? You and Duncan gifted me that same knife, several years ago!!
I'd say it was a sacrifice, and I am humbled!!!
What goes around, comes around, Paul!!!

Charlie, something wasn't right in the knife universe, if you of all people didn't have that knife. I took my picture with it when it arrived and mailed off to you. I was smitten and had been after that same knife since the beginning but felt in time I may stumble across one myself and ended up doing so from a great member here...this is thee place to be in my opinion ;)

On another site I came across this ancient 2.0 recovered in nice smooth bone and was lucky enough to trade into it.

I came across some info on this knife on another site...not a recover, simply sanded down the original covers...somewhere along the line a caplifter was added then deleted...I love caplifters but just not on an Ancient Barlow. Anyways, this knife has been around (across the pond and back) and I'm glad to own it now. It's blade is centered and solid, the covers are very nice in this revised form. I even learned that are very own mrknife mrknife "Jack" owned her :)
I know my knives will have to be relocated in the future but I'm going to hold onto this one for awhile :)
