What makes a good truck knife?

For a truck “knife”, I went with a trio. Full size Fiskars axe, Becker BK4 Machax, and a Leatherman tool. I’m in a full size truck. No need to go mini on anything really. I’ve had to move downed trees a couple of times in life so that justifies the full size axe. The BK4 is a large but still nimble blade. The Leatherman tool covers all the smaller stuff. A few times in life the Leatherman has made it to my pocket because I’d forgotten my usual EDC blade.

Not one of your own?

I’ve got at least four knives, of various sizes, an E-tool, a hatchet, an axe, two saws, and various other miscellaneous items which will come in very handy when the apocalypse comes. Sometimes I even have my battery powered chainsaw. The zombies might get me but I’ll be damned if a fallen tree does.

I only have a leatherman in the glove box and should throw a fixed blade in there as well although I am not sure that I would ever use. Might as well be in the truck and not used than in knife storage 🤷‍♂️
