Can’t go wrong with Cold Steel fixed blade. Whichever one floats your boat. I personally like the Trailmaster and SRK lines. Tough enough to do what needs doing with no fuss, and if it gets stolen or lost it’s easily replaced without much fanfare.

I've got a few truck knives. Becker, Ontario RTAK (RAT), SAK, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others I've left there.

My car knife is a H&B GOShawk and an Ontario Karambit under the seat. I keep thinking my Cold Steel ATC khukri might replace the tomahawk but haven’t done it yet.

The Hultafors heavy duty is my truck knife. I put a coffee patina on it and haven’t had a big issue with rus.(haven't checked on it in a while though.)

But it is very cheap. And almost indestructible.

A spot of rust on the spine. A couple of dots on the blade.

We just went through a cyclone. So a bit of water probably got in there.

For a truck “knife”, I went with a trio. Full size Fiskars axe, Becker BK4 Machax, and a Leatherman tool. I’m in a full size truck. No need to go mini on anything really. I’ve had to move downed trees a couple of times in life so that justifies the full size axe. The BK4 is a large but still nimble blade. The Leatherman tool covers all the smaller stuff. A few times in life the Leatherman has made it to my pocket because I’d forgotten my usual EDC blade.

I’ve got at least four knives, of various sizes, an E-tool, a hatchet, an axe, two saws, and various other miscellaneous items which will come in very handy when the apocalypse comes. Sometimes I even have my battery powered chainsaw. The zombies might get me but I’ll be damned if a fallen tree does.

My truck knife is a large filet knife.

I have an assortment of CS monsters in the glove box of each vehicle along with a SAK Spartan and a random fixed blade in each trunk

I only have a leatherman in the glove box and should throw a fixed blade in there as well although I am not sure that I would ever use. Might as well be in the truck and not used than in knife storage
