  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What makes you a Spyderco fan?

I'm with everyone else on the excellent fit, finish, different high-grade steels, and handle materials used. The trademark hole for simple, efficient, and quick opening also does it for me. Besides these things, the beauty and the SOUND (oh that sound) of the positive lock-up speaks to me. Did I mention I love that sound? :D Thanks Sal, and all those at Spyderco for bringing us such highly functional art. Hoping you and all the crew have a Happy, Healthy, and Safe, New Year.

Also like to mention the full flat ground blades and excellent customer service. Gary

I used to think they looked odd, but then I bought a couple and got used to them - everything else seems odd - really. Sal really knows how to design a knife to use. I also think they look great now. I won't even consider a thumbstud now, either. The hole is fast, sure and safe. Great steels, great designs, variety, and Sal listens to us (sometimes I wonder why - we're a demanding and annoying lot :o).
