How you finding the PST, just bought A PST II cheap, should be here next week.
Hi Mitch, I really like the PST and PST II a lot. They are a great compact light weight carry. I find the fit and finish to be excellent. The tool selection was well thought out. Super easy to disassemble (with the right tools, Loki Wrenches), clean, inspect, and reassemble. Definitely one of Leatherman‘s all time best.

I freakin' love my improved Wave that I've had for maybe 25 years. So the other day, I saw LLBean had the best current pricing on on a Wave + ($102, free shipping, and I had $68 in mdse credit so a little over $40 out of pocket (after including sales tax). The new ARC is sweet, but not enough to fork over twice the cost even with a Magcut blade. I will move the early Wave to my van camper and put the Wave + in the Land Cruiser. The camper van had a Blast in it and my wife seems to have lost (or a son swiped) whatever Leatherman she had so the Blast gets moved to her car. Win-win for me! IN all honesty, I rarely use them but I just like the gimmickry, especially as they work and are right there.

I had a solenoid stick on a 4 wheeler Saturday and hurried to un-hook the battery and fried the tips of my old SOG Powerlock even worse than they already were.

Lucky I had it on me, but man those tips aren't needle nose anymore.

They're now "blunt nose"...

😁

M Murphy Slaw , I believe the issue has to due with the part content. A product has to have a certain percentage of its content manufactured in the U.S. to qualify to have it stamped U.S.A. Leatherman was sued by the state of California sometime in the 1990s. As a result, tools from that period had U.S.A. removed since they did not have enough part content to qualify. I am no expert on this topic, I am just sharing what little bit I know.

Here is a pic, since this is a picture thread.
