It works,
I repaired the lid on my wheele bin, only broken because the garbage truck operator kept dropping it.

That's the reason why I put full brass rivets to my belts.

Thanks gents great advice. I swap to a plate buckle sometimes on this belt. This wasn't mine. When I made belts, press studs or rivets depending on preference.
