Gerber multi pliers lives on my belt at the three o'clock position, every day. Heavy duty enough to twist 12 gauge solid Romex wire together without the jaws flexing sideways, as has happened to me with needle nose multi-tools.

I had unreachable dropped bolt and I tried to find magnet to fetch it but couldn’t. Then I remembered my improvised sausage fork from yesterday that I trimmed a bit to fit through the narrow passage and managed to pick the bolt.
