Very cool. Could you tell me more about your mods, Specifically what you did to fit the Spyderco blade in. It looks very useful.

Thanks, I truly appreciate you taking your time to share your insights on your mod. If I am able to source a the appropriate knife at a decent price, I think I am going to give this a try.The most difficult modification is drilling out the pivot hole for the SOG's pivot to fit. I had to buy a drill bit specifically for hardened/"stainless steel". I bought a bit a smidge too small and had to expand the hole with sandpaper wrapped around a drill bit. H1 wasn't too difficult, but still took some time to drill through.
I also had to minimally grind the lock surface and the "kick" for it to sit further down in the handle.
I intended for the knife to be a slip joint/non-locking mechanism. Looking back, I'm not sure if there's enough material to make it lock if you want it to.
If I learned anything from this mod, it is to go slower and check fitment more frequently. I actually removed too much metal and had to use JB Weld to the area where the lock bar rides. Works great, though. I'd do it again. Should be able to do it with other Ladybugs, Manbugs, and Jesters.

Happy birthday to the person in question
