The Roxon Multi-tools are really growing on me. I started with the Phantom it has interchangeable blades and tools in its modular system. Wonderful tool, but the fit of the main blade was loose, which was fixable using thin copper washers. The Phantom has been discontinued and replaced by the Flex Titan Modular tool. It uses both the Modular and the Flex Modular tool systems. The main blade now pivots on ball bearings, and the blade has no play in it at all. It is a rather hefty tool, much like the much more expensive Leatherman Surge. It is best carried in a tool belt. The most useful EDO Roxon is the Knife-Scissors tool. A very simple EDO with a changeable main blade in the Modular system and a usefully large set of scissors, nothing more. Solidly built but not overly heavy. It is easy to put on work pants or bib overalls pocket.

My Arc and Signal have been getting some use here lately with spring cleaning and some fence repairs. I really like the Arc it’s a great tool and so smooth to operate and the hardened hammer face has been used a few times. I was hesitant to use it that way at first but so far just some lite tapping with it. I’ve used just about all the tools onboard and they have all performed great.

The Signal I use mainly for outdoor stuff and as a secondary backup when I need to screw a bolt and nut. It stays in my pickup along with my Wave + so that they goes where I go. I was up at my sons house for a week and had to use them for working on his fence as his Corgi got out through the fence and then my pickup needed some repairs and my Arc came in handy to grab and remove a harness clip and pull a solenoid valve out and then put them back together.

Yeah I probably could have uses some proprietary tools but I had the Leathermans with me and didn’t have to go to the shop toolbox and they did the job in great fashion. I just love it when a plan comes together 😆
