What multitool or SAK did you buy today

Thank you! I have been focusing pretty much solely on SAKs for the past while, because there just hasn't been anything in the modern world that has grabbed my interest. And there are soooo many amazing SAKs out there, I'm really enjoying the journey!

Right there with ya'. It takes alot more these days for a modern knife to give me that "must have" feeling, and there's so much within the SAK world for knife lovers to sink our teeth into. Collecting them can be very fulfilling while not (necessarily ;)) breaking the bank. They've become like the candy of knife collecting for me.
OK, guilty as well!!! I like how you can deviate from part of the hobby to another but man I was brought back into the fold once I popped over hear a year or so back. For the most part you can score some really cool SAK's very reasonably, others you pay up for. I found myself picking up current models and some that where (somewhat) recently discontinued, Scientist, Yeoman and assorted others but then was really bit trying to score vintage models. Let's just say I'm easily entertained😁🥴

A new Leatherman Free P2 arrived yesterday.

Bought a used nylon handled Spartan this morning.
I've been on a nylon handled SAK purchasing binge lately.
After pulling out a nylon Sportsman II out of my cigar boxes of SAKS a few months ago
I wondered why I didn't pursue these earlier.

2018 Limited Edition Tinker with Plumwood scales (a first for Vic at the time, not sure if they've done any since), and Damascus in a Ladder pattern. It took me quite awhile to find one of these, and am super glad to have it in hand!

Quiet Guy -

You sure that's a Tinker? Looks like a hook on the backside along the awl. I've never seen a regular Tinker with a hook. ???
Great SAK regardless of model.

I always wondered what the saw cover was for? Do the teeth bang up to the frame or something?

I think since it is a combo tool it is just to cover the saw while grasping the cap lifter, and also protect the teeth of the saw somewhat when not in use perhaps.

I used to belt carry a Deluxe Tinker - good design. But I realized after about 6 months that I never used the pliers nor the scissors. So a simple Tinker (actually several over the years) has been in my pocket ever since. That wood Deluxe is a jewel.
