What multitool or SAK did you buy today

Got this used Champion (model "c" apparently, according to SAKwiki). It's the largest 91mm in my collection, I'm gonna try and EDC it instead of my current Fieldmaster, and see if my pants keep up!

Received Ann Earl Lee inheritance this A.M.:

Blade and tools are near "perfect".
Only the covers have damages. (big "so what?")

He decided to give it to me now because he now has difficulty pressing the blade release.
(Deforming Arthritis in fingers, hands, and unrelated locations. 🥺)

Questions:
Can a SAK Modder swap a multi-purpose "corkscrew" in for the redundent solo-purpose #2 phillips back tool?

Will VIC replace the covers under warranty or for the cost of replacement covers?

Would VIC do the Phillips to Corkscrew conversion for parts + labor?

Is the VIC/WENGER fingernail file "blade" heat treated so it could be sharpend on one edge like a pen blade?

IF I sharpen that blade, 10 DPS "V" edge or 10° single bevel chisel edge?

Corkscrew, pen blade, and multi-purpose "package hook" would make this the "ideal" SAK.
(For 97% (+/-) of my current uses/needs; Not necessarraly anyone elses. 😇👍)

Facility just gave me a new multi-tool!!! 🤯😳
Combination small prybar and bottle opener. 🥰👍

Swapped it in for the extendable ZEBRA Stylus/Ballpoint pen kept on the side of the LM sheath.
I "think" a classic Church Key will probably witness more use than the Zebra. 🤔

Those plier based rangergrips are chonky bois! How do you like the feel of the plier lever? Do you feel like you can get some good crunch out of them?LIike the Ranger Grips pliers better than the Hercules, and S51's.
I like the pliers better than those on the Hercules and S51.

The wider end feels better, gives a better grip, and can get more of a crush/crunch, like a LM Charge+ TTI.
(I haven't used other LM pliers, so I don't know if they are "better"/"worse"/"the same".)

Better pliers not withstanding, I'm not sure how much carry time the Boatsman is going to get.
I'm not on my former employer's charter boat anymore, and don't currently own a boat. (I doubt I will again.)
For my needs the Hercules and Huntsman has a more useful tool set.

The Boatsman's 1/4 inch bits are nice, but I always have the LM Charge+ TTI with-in reach, with bit sets 1 and 2 and a 1/4 inch bit ratchet that takes the LM flat bits, along with a 36 pc. 1/4 inch bit set and a 125 pc (has some "security" bits) 1/8 inch bit set with an adapter to use the 1/8 inch bits in the 1/4 inch holder/driver/ratchet.

I suspect it will get even less carry time than my S51 ... and 4 blade Scout/Camp/Utility/"Demo"/Engineer's knives currently get.
I use the SAK's scissors, and the Hercules' pliers (for light use) the most.

I purchased a Fox 6 blade camp knife with stag scales from AAPK website. From the limited reviews and pictures it looks well made. I don’t know if anyone here has had a chance to handle one. It comes with a leather belt sheath since it is a bit large to comfortably carry in the pocket.

There is a town about an hour away that has a big flea market every Memorial Day and Labor day weekend. Picked up an old Hiker for $20, the little Vic for $5 and the SAK wannabe Cub Scout for $10. I’ve been looking online and can’t seem to be able to date the Hiker so any help is appreciated. It has the clip instead of a pen for the smaller blade, squared off Phillips with the nail file and the scalloped out and sharpened cap lifter. Victoria tang stamp.

I just bought a SAK Classic SD. I am retired now and don’t even need my beloved Trim Trio, Quattro, Powerful Pete, and P38 on a keychain while at home. I have become a devotee of Jacknife’s maximum minimalism and the SD is just the thing for suburban life.
