I'm hoping Emerson makes a larger type folder, >4". With wave ofcourse.

After just receiving my SOCFK, There aren't any other Emersons that I'd want. Besides the obvious things that I probably won't be able to find... the dagger and ES1-M, etc.

1)Custom left hand CQC-5 (well maybe I'll get it in 6 years)
2)Mini waved left hand CQC-7
Sorry to those I have offended, that was not my intension. I would just like EKI to improve the quality control. QC is very important to all companies. I think Ernie deserves every cent he makes. His customers (including me) deserve a well made product we all work hard for our money. I apologize to all usual suspects and ask forgiveness for any thoughtless comments that I have made in this forum.

I'd like to have a CQC8 by next year at this time. Tamishigiri's "Black-out Eight" would fit the bill nicely (Wink, Wink, Nod, Nod).

More in the "Fantasy" relm, an ES1-C would fill out my "Commander Collection", Maybe the Spyder holed one. But I wouldn't turn my nose up at another ES1-M, maybe Black-T.

I will definatly have any of the new EKI models coming out, including the new NASA I already have on order.

NASA Knife (already on order)
Mini CQC7
Any custom that I can (not) afford and can get past the wife.

I hope to snag an I&I special tanto and maybe a waved mini 7. That covers both ends, big and small folders!

Critical mass, after the total choas and screwed up raffle situation I was told about at the NY show, people crowding around blocking the othertables and causing total gridlock near his table ,do you think hes still gonna do one? Plus so many of the same dealers always just happen to get picked out of the hat.
I want to go to Blade but does anyone know if the raffle will keep going? DErek?

Hey! A NASA knife? What's it like? Sounds pretty neat - astronauts getting prepared for CQB with aliens?

IM ALSO WONDERING ABOUT THE RAFFLE IN ATLANTA,WAS GOING IN 2000 BUT GOT A NEW JOB AND LOST VACATION TIME IN APRIL.. I AM ALMOST POSITIVE I WILL GO IN 2001. IS EMERSON GOING TO DO THE RAFFLE AND DOES THIS MEAN HE IS GOING TO HAVE SOME CUSTOMS AS WELL? I HOPE SO I DONT OWN A CUSTOM YET AND WOULD AT LEAST LIKE TO OWN 1 OF THE MANY HE HAS, JUST CANT MAKE MY MIND UP.. HOW MANY DOES HE TAKE TO THE SHOWS FOR RAFFLE?

thelu, I certainly hope that he still has a raffle that is how I snagged a CQC-7 this year! Although, now that he has annouced his semi-retirement the Blade raffle would be a melee.

STAYSHARP, if you search this forum around the time of the Blade show there is rundown of the knives which Emerson had at the show. I think it was something like 2 CQC-5s, 3-4 CQC 6s, and 2 CQC-7s (and several high dollar damascus and pearl models plus damascus production models). Although he had a much more diverse selection at the New York Show.
