**What new large size tactical folders are coming out for 2001???

To those waiting for Darrel's new stuff, he described the design to me and then swore me to secrecy. It's going to be AWESOME! Sorry to tease, but I don't want to upset the knife maker who lives only 10 minutes from me. Actually, I'm not really sorry about teasing.

the HERMANATOR is real but i dont know how many i am going to make as those little screws drive me nuts

it has a 4" double ground fighter blade of ats34, liners of .050 17-4 stainless and maroon micarta scales. i probably could have parts water jet cut out so i could do more and keep the price down but i dont know if i want to get involved in semi-production knives. this first one i split the liner with a jewelers saw. i wanted to only finish them to 600 grit to be used but most times i go past that as it just looks rough to me lol. made like this they would be priced at $750 and the number i make will be pretty limited this year.
this year is going to be very busy for me with many orders to finish plus the AKI show next October.

this first one was done for a friend for christmas. he has a loveless style fighter i made many years ago in maroon micarta, and this is the loveless style fighter blade, so after 15 years it is kind of a set

Thanks to Mike Lamprey for his permission to use, and his help on the thumb stud arrangment. Mike and I are in the middle of two OTHER collaborations at this time.
