The title pretty much says it all. What other knife companies put out a product comparable to Chris Reeve's famed knives?

None, if you're talking folders.
I've had/have folders from most companies, and none were made or designed as well.
Handled many at Blade for years also, and never found anything I like as well as the Sebenza.
That's my opinion anyway.

I really like Hinderer's XM-18, but I don't find the blade as useful for EDC tasks. I also like well made traditionals, but I don't carry them as often or use them for utility as much as my CRKs.
Like Ken44 said, I don't think any other manufacturer that I have tried makes a knife as well as Chris Reeve.

The hinderer are on same level but intended use is completely different. I also agree that the xm isn't as suited to my every day needs.

Shirogorov is certainly on the same level and build quality.

Technically, ANYTHING is comparable to a CRK, but I am assuming that you mean "favorable" comparison.

I don't want to sound like a CRK fan that is without objectivity, but honestly there are very VERY few companies that would even want to put out something like the 21. I mean, it seems all the rage is thicker stock, full flat ground, and broader blade profiles (for the most part). CRK has been doing the Sebenza like it is (basically) for a long time and the trends have changed (and admittedly, so did he Sebenza a little wih the thicker and flatter 25) so generally speaking, not many knives out there offer the same characteristics of the Sebenza.

All that said, I am pretty far outside the market in terms of being conceerned with what is available. I am fairly satisfied with the current crop of knives I have at my disposal so I don't shop the latest offerings much...(shrug)

NONE....!!! For folders CRK is easily #1. They also make some great fixed blades but for fixed blades, it's tough to beat Busse.

I'd put William Henry on par with CRK in terms of materials, fit and finish. Their design philosophy is a lot different that CRK's, of course. But their execution is every bit as good IMHO.

CRK is famed for their Sebenza and their 1 piece line. They do a great job on their folders. There are brands that make folders that compare but not across the board. AS for fixed blades, I did not find their fixed blades impressive in any way. They were ok.

I am find my shirogorov to be extreamly similar to my CRK sebenza 25.

Very similar size
Very similar dual Titanium slabs with integral frame lock.
Very similar build quality and attention to detail.

I give the edge to my shirogorov slightly on for and finish but if you put a flipper on a Sebenza they would be like brothers....

It's funny I saw this thread tonight. I have my SHIRO in me today and was randomly thinking it was so similar to the sebbie.

After now owning a few of Chris's offerings I'd say anything with the same materials and design would be comparable... yet, if you do get to comparing, there will almost always be something or many somethings that just push him out in front. There really is no other directly comparable unit on the market. I mean you can find a myriad of other very nice titanium framelocks and several good blade shapes but a crk's value is equal to MUCH more than the sum of its parts..

Some of you guys need to get out more often. One knife I feel is at least as nice and tightly built is Cook's Lochsa.

I've had several TAD Mk 2 and Mk 3 folders which were great quality.
Another is the Brad Southard mid-tech AVO that I've been carrying 24/7 since last December. Wonderful knife.

And some need to read the original post more often:p
Lochsa is a custom. Doesn't come from a company.

Folders, Spartan Blades' Akribis is very close. Other than that, I haven't found anything with similar quality in the pricerange. Lots of knives almost get it right, but there's always something wrong like uneven edge bevels or some other deal-breaker. With a Sebenza, everything will be 'just right', from the lockup to the ceramic detent ball to the perfectly ground blade and edges.

For fixed blades, the Attleboro knife suits my Sebenza very well, and is the closest I've found to a fixed blade Sebenza.

In terms of fit and finish, in my experience only William Henry matches CRK. However, they are very different in almost every way including designed useage. IMO there aren't any other production companies on that high of a level.

I am surprised Striders are mentioned. True North Knives website list them as a manufacturer; are they a custom shop and do not apply.

Rockstead, strider, hinderer, Shirogorov....etc. There are plenary of knives in the 400-600 range that are just as well done as CRK. They are nice knives but the guys who say "nothing touches them" haven't had enough knives. I have had 3 different CRKs and none of them were perfect.

They are a manufacturer.
They do make a small number of Customs, but their regular lineup is production.
