To answer the OPs question. I really have no idea how people can look at any Mantis and find it in any way desirable. ..
It comes with free Mall Ninja certification.
I wonder, do you have to go back every couple years to be recertified or does it come with a lifetime membership?![]()
Hollow handled 'survival' knives
ZT knives which are like carrying bricks plus I hate the way the blades look.

Lifetime membership as far as I know. ...
I for one like semi's. I'm always in a hurry to get something whittled or cut and I usually use the serrations more than the smooth part. Or I at least start the cut with the serrations and finish the draw with the smooth. Inch for inch, the serrations don't play around.
Interesting thread.
I wish I disliked as many knives as some folks in this thread. Unfortunately, with a very few individual exceptions, I happen to like knives of all ilk and that makes my bank account cry. If only I could develop a dislike for most knives then maybe I could afford a car - or food.....

I hope you do better tomorrow, especially when trying to be a derogatory smart-ass correcting some one else. For the non-analphabetic: I didn't state 154CM was soft. Emerson's 154CM is. He does that deliberately. And in case you still didn't get what I meant as a non-native speaker: it dulls quickly. I'm speaking of experience here.pls stop before you hurt yourself, i hope you can do better tomorrow, today is shot and can not be recovered. I guess ATS 34 is also "soft" ????
Not really. Its that we all think the best knife in the world is "my knife" and the worst knife in the world is "your knife."
And so these threads always erupt. Invariably somebody gets bent outta shape.
Heck, I think we should go all "torches and pitchforks" on mjolnir74 for his blasphemous talk about Opinels! Of course, he's entitled to his opinion however ridiculous it is.![]()
