What`s Your Favorite Factory Knife?

I almost hesitate to put them in the production company category. Everyone I have ever held felt custom to me. Good group of guys over at BHK.

I have a standard 3 layer SAK as well that has been a god friend, although i was hoping another might turn up for Christmas as well as a Buck 301.

Tell Santa to give me a yell, I have a new in the box Buck 301 I`m going to sell for $25!

don't really have a favorite brand, but I'm with KYEnglish that I definitely have favorite knives.
Vic Huntsman for work, Forrester for weekends/camping/out on the property.
Carried a buck 301 for a while until I picked up a spyderco UKPK for GP box/mail opening duties.
BK14 or ESEE Izula II for small fixed blade
ESEE6 or Kabar Navy Mk1 for larger fixed - mostly used for chores around the property or camping.
Back in the 80's i was all Gerber & Buck, but none of the knives I had were very practical for daily carry/use and I sold them off after realizing they didn't get used.

Good deal, are you selling it on BF by any chance? I ask Santa but I wasn't convinced she liked the idea. :)

I will be, just have to see what else I want to put up for sale too. I`m thinking the black micarta Kalinga, just need to find out what they sell for.

last time I looked up a Kalinga the prices were running $150 and up - but folks seem to be a lot tighter on their funds lately, so I don't know what current prices look like.

I've always been a big fan of Swamprat and Scrapyard knives, just wish they'd thin the edges out a little more !

Old black micarta Kalinga, never used! I`m going to be selling this one, it does nothing for me. It dates somewhere between 1974 - 1981.

For folders I enjoy Spyderco and Benchmade. Traditional folders Buck and Case, but I have been eyeing the GECs recently. Fixed blades I like ESEE and Mora.

Oh, and I am pretty partial to my Buck Stockman even though it's made in the evil land called China

How do you like your UKPK?
I've carried my UKPK exclusively for over a year. It has done everything that I have asked of it.

I love it -- enough tension on the spring I feel no need for a lock but still opens 1 handed if I need it to.
I still carry the Huntsman for the screwdriver, but haven't opened the blade on it in 2 months.
