I agree 100%...I can’t seem to find a single use for the parcel tool, but the awl (especially on the Alox models) IN MY OPINION are one of the most useful tools.
Nice Compact btw, I really need to pick one of those up

*forgot to add to the thread lol. Today my Hercules is in a Vic sheath in the front right pocket of my Carharrt, that has become my preferred method of carrying the big Vic.

I like it because it's one of the easier lanyard knots. Google snake knot lanyard, and there'll be several videos showing it.
