  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What SAK are ya totin' today?

This winter my wood handled SAK have been getting more pocket time. They just feel warmer in my pocket on a cold day.

I've been trying out the small tinker, that plk7 so generously gifted me. I like it!!!

Just enough smaller than the 91mm to have a noticeable effect on how it carries in the pocket. And as fan of the Case peanut, I like small. And it's very noticeably better in the pocket than my Wenger SI. The small tinker makes a good 'downtown' Washington D.C. pocket knife. Same size as the recruit, but with the added kick of the phillips and awl.

A Tinker is hard to beat. I have small Tinker carried almost a year straight and it never let me down. It also works like new.

Day in and day out it's the trusty Farmer, either my orange or the red one

Where's the split ring for the lanyard ?
I have to admit I've been converted to the Farmer myself .
If they made the Harvester with the lanyard ring I'd just sit out on the veranda with a contented smile on my face for the rest of my days :)

Today, I'm actually toting no knives of any kind. Jury duty today, so I emptied my pockets before I went down to the courthouse this morning.

But since I have to fill my pockets again tomorrow, I think for a change of pace, I'm going to trade the MiniChamp I've had in my watch pocket for a Pocket Pal I bought myself for Christmas/birthday and haven't carried yet. And I'm going to switch the Electrician I've carried every day since October for a black Pioneer that was also part of my gift to myself, and is also uncarried so far; Bob, maybe your photo inspired this choice. ;)

Tomorrow: TGIF!! :D

That's a SWEET custom, Russ! I love the second blade, the scissors, and the "in-line" phillips!:thumbup:
Any room for a saw in there?!? :D

I bet one could be squeezed in. ;) The guy that made it for me will do pretty much whatever you'd like!
