What SAK are ya totin' today?

I'm participating in a "58mm challenge" on multitool.org, so for the last month or so I have been carrying either a Classic SD or Manager. But its not much of a challenge for me, as that's what I carry almost all of the time anyway.

LOL!!

Thanks for clearing that up Ken! She's a chip off the old block obviously :D

Yes she showed an interest in a SAK a few weeks ago when she saw me looking at some Victorinox's online.
When she saw some of the colourful patterned ones she got really excited .
Next day she comes back to me and says she has done some research and the " Plaid " version you see in the pic is the one that she wants .
I was caught between a rock and a hard place , tell her to buy it herself and risk turning her off the idea of becoming a knife fan , or buy it for her and concede that she just played me like a fiddle :)

I bought it for her , but it did take some finding .
The coolest part is when I gave it to her , I got the most enthusiast response I think I've ever seen from her , she genuinely loved it , and she's worn it around neck on a sparkly lanyard thing ever since .
Another generation of knife lover in our family has just been created .

sorry no pics, I don't have a decent camera (keep buying knives instead :D), but im carrying my new red Cadet and a Fallkniven Juni in a KSF pocket sheath. a very useful combo imo :thumbup:

Here are a few photos of my very first knife..an oldie, but goodie. In one photo, I have it laid across the action, suspense novel I wrote, Soul Deceiver (it seemed to match) and the next one is just a plain black background.

Congrats, Ken! :thumbup::thumbup:
It's nice, isn't it, when you get some evidence that you can still have some influence on your kids at that age? ;):D;)
