What SAK are ya totin' today?

Forgot I had this. Seems like I was drawn to this Sportsman type pattern early on. Funny, I've never used the file for my nails but for just about anything else.

It occured to me I don't have a sak with scissors except for my alox classic

What would the smallest full sized sak with scissors (thinking I would never actually carry a 4 or more layer sak)

Don't know for sure what you mean by "Smallest Full-Sized".

Personally, I carry the Super Tinker at 3.5" long closed. But it is a 3-layer, so not the smallest full-sized.

The Swiss Army Compact Red is a 2-layer with scissors, but the same 3.5" long closed. So, in my eyes that is full sized, and smaller.

The Rambler is only 2 1/4" long and feels tiny to me. So I don't consider it full sized, but you might.

84-91mm
And fewest layers ...like your super tinker suggestion..so we can do it it 3 layers
Can we find one in a 2 layer option?

Look again for the 2-layer, that's my second picture - the Swiss Army Compact Red 2-layer.

This book will cut down the solution time considerably; scroll down the page for a downloadable PDF.

My poor brain has turned to mush with old age. In medical school I would show off solving the cube behind my back, after letting a friend mess it up with a few moves, maybe 3-5 moves, I don't remember? I couldn't solve one in 5 seconds, but a seriously messed up cube would only take me a few minutes.

Very nice. What model is that? I'd love a fully serrated blade.
It's a Picnicker. An early slide lock version. I'm not an expert but I see 3/4 serrated blades around on slightly newer slide lock models. I don't know anything about the liner lock version. They come up for sale from time to time without the seller mentioning the blade is serrated. So it pays to look around.
It's a great blade that slices tomatoes with ease. It's one of my favourites mate.

Still carryiing the trusty classic that has been my EDC since last August. In the past 24 hours it has opened my mail, Cut some twine to tie up cut up tree limbs that the ice storm here took down in my backyard, opened a plastic blister package of Gorilla Glue, sliced a quick snack off a block of Tillimook Chedder cheese, cut off the corner of the little Soy sause packs that come with Chinese carryout, Opened a fresh bag of Purina One dog kibble for our beloved Australian Shepherd Abby. Trimmed a cracked nail form dealing with the ice storm wreckage. I love the classic nail file.

But most of all and most important, cut off the seal of the new bottle of Even Williams bourbon when the little pull tab pulled off without doing the job of tearing open the seal. It was the end of the day and I needed a little drink!
