What Sebenza 21 is most sought after?

The "P" sebenzas for best quality!

The more common BG-42 regular Sebenzas are popular and avaliable. However the Regulars are not the same design as a 21.

What do you mean by nicest?... Most expensive? Rare? better quality? Added glitz? How do you define "nicest one available"?

I would say the best build quality was the P sebenzas . Only thing is they used the older premium steel from back then ATS-34.

The most sought after, in terms of dollars, are the rarest. Not because they are better, just more collectible.

CRK has won manufacturing awards for well over a decade because they put out a consistent, high quality product. I'd just buy whatever new one strikes your fancy.

why is the P sebenza better quality then a 21?

As with anything the "best materials" are usually found in the newer models. So basically, visit the CRK forums, find one you think is best for you and go from there.

You're still trying too hard. There is no such thing as a "best" in the knife world. What is best for me is probably not best for you.

For what it's worth, I've had a lot of people try to buy this one ;) it's a Classic MM instead of a 21 though.

Don't forget, the newer ones have a slightly tweaked heat treat for a little more performance.

It all depends on what exactly you want.

One made on a significant birthdate?
One made with a graphic that means something to you?
One that has a reputation for being hard to find?

What do YOU want exactly, then find out what CRK is closest. Not just what is "best", because there is no "best".
What is best for me, might not even fit your hand let alone your usage...

To answer your question:
To me; the one made on my daughters birthday is the best one around. Only seven were made on that day and I landed it 10 months after she was born.

One of the shortest searches in had in my knife collecting/using time span. I was expecting it to be quite the opposite.

Native American CCG large or small
Mammoth bark with unusual colors i.e. Blues and green
Handmade early folders made by Chris in the early days as well as some OPK's that were made in Africa
Rare Damascus steel such as River of Fire with limited pieces made.

Looking for best material and best quality.
They all fit that description IMO
There are some that are fancy, And some that are extremely hard to find that make great collectors items, but not particularly good edc's
If you want something different get a unique or a regular with a CGG that you prefer or even a mayonized
If you were a bit more specific on what you are looking for-EDC, Unique, collectors item, or something that will increase in value, we might be able to help better.

Ah...The mythical knife that never loses value no matter how much you use it? That was a very limited run with Unobtainium handle slabs and a Vorpal blade...

Yea...
Take your pick,
a user that depreciates

Or

A safe queen that sits unused that Might appreciate in value, no guarantees.
