What site do you use?

I've used Blade HQ & KSF. Perfect and fast every time. Plan on trying out USAMadeBlade, Kershaw Guy and KnifeCenter.

Just wondering what the best online site is in your opinion. Number one priority is prices.

I totally understand the "#1 Priority is price" thing, but stick to reputable dealers that have been suggested here.

Even if that costs you a few more $'s, it's well worth potential issues that you can also learn about in this section of the forum....

How is about knifeworks and whitemountainknives? fast and safe..

I can vouch for Knifeworks. Use them quite a bit. Always smooth, fast....never a problem. I like their website too. Also they are able to fix me up with a lot of obscure pieces a lot of dealers can't.

Agreed. I can vouch as well. Never disappointed with my purchases from them.

I also would've mentioned Whit Mountain but thought we were talking about BF vendors.
I have used Justin at W Mountain more than any other!! He is a one man shop and gives excellent service!! He has checked every blade I bought!!
Great guy to deal with!

One of the most annoying things about Blade Forums is the seeming insistence that it's taboo to even mention dealers that don't pay money to the site. What's next, banning mentions of individual knife makers who don't have paid memberships? Or what about banning the discussion of any knife whose manufacturer isn't a paying member? It's absolutely ridiculous.

500% agree not that I don't support the paid vendors but there are others that are just as good

If you don't like it, you can take it up with Spark. His site, his rules. I would suggest you take it directly to him actually, Not doing so would be even more ridiculous IMO. The concept is really simple, and if it really requires explanation then you clearly might not get it anyway.

It's a business. I couldn't go to a carnival and set up my own dunk tank.

Indeed, everything costs money these days. Some people just don't get what a community is either I guess.

I'm not an imbecile, I understand that Spark can make whatever rules he wants. But until he makes a rule that states "no criticizing the rules," I will continue to do so (but I'll try to do so only where it's on-topic). I won't take it up with Spark because I doubt he'll see it, let alone do anything about it. If the Tech Support forum is any indication, Spark has enough trouble timely responding to legitimate requests; my whining is not going to make the agenda any time soon.

There really is no free lunch. BFC does not run on well wishes. Even the nonpaying members pay for this place through advertisements their eyes see. Further, nonpaying and paying members alike pay the bills through the exclusive advertising of paid dealers. Thus, non-paying dealers can't have their ads placed here whether they themselves post the ads or someone else. It wouldn't make sense otherwise. The more you pay to be here, also the more you get. When you pay with just your eyes seeing advertising you get practically nothing. When you pay for a dealer membership you get a lot, like exclusive advertising. I pay for a gold membership that gets me certain limited things. We all make a choice to be here and pay at a level we are comfortable with.

This is also a community. These paying dealers support our ability to be here and be part of this community. There are lots of "absolutely ridiculous" things in this world and even on this forum. Paying dealers having exclusive advertising rights here certainly is not one of them.

Well, I guess the phrasing of your question/comment whatever was a bit pointed. Giving the distinct impression you have a few problems. No one said you were an imbecile, so putting words in people's mouths is not necessary. I guess you just seem to have a few complaints regarding this place overall and the only way to improve is to take it to the person that can actually change things. But if you are content to simply question/comment whatever it was, then that is your prerogative ineffective as it may be.

I like using Collector Knives and DLT...(don't know if my other "go-to" site is a member here) but Mike and Jason (respectively) always provide awesome customer service.

Collector Knives, DLT, KSF, Old Hundred, JSR, etc. I've received excellent service from them all.

In no particular order:
TNK, New Graham, and GP, There are few others, but they don't support the site, so I am not going to list them.
