What size blade is the perfect EDC for you?

3.5”-3.75” here. I feel like for the most part 3.5 is a great balance of not being too obtrusive to carry, yet still having plenty of blade.

I like on folders 3.45" up to 4.25" range. 3.25" i don't mind on some knives.

2" is fine for me. I'm not chopping or doing heavy cutting tasks all day long. mostly just cutting boxes, stripping wire and other light slicing tasks. no need for a long blade for any of this

Yes I think I’m seeing why knives like the Delica and bugout are so popular.

Once a bellcurve is established, I will narrow to the 80% and run again.

3.5 - 3.75" for me. The majority of my knives are in this range. I have a big hand, so I prefer a handle that is longer and bigger than most.

In the rare instance where I might have to keep the blade length under 3", I have a few knives that satisfy that requirement so I don't break the law.

"Under three inches" is the law in many jurisdictions, and works well in general, but I tend to overdo things, so I'm going with 3.5 inches.
