What Spydie do you have on the way???

I have a Dragonfly on the way, with my very soon to be after that purchase being a Chaparral!

I'm trying something different this time. I won't buy another knife until this one is delivered. I swear... :rolleyes:
 
No fewer than three, and my first three Spydercos at that. The Endura 4 FFG with grey FRN scales was scheduled for delivery yesterday but I guess FedEx is swamped with Christmas deliveries. Hoping it comes today. After thinking I'd scored a PM2 from one outlet I was heartbroken when they had to cancel my order due to "technical issues" and not having enough stock. I lucked out and found a "black out" model online yesterday and actually have a tracking number for it! It will be delivered after Christmas but just knowing it has my name on it is a good feeling. Last but not least is the purple Ladybug 3 to replace the nameless "made in China" folder I keep on my desk for those tasks a mini folder does best.
 
A Dragonfly w/ ZDP189 steel and Nishijin glass fiber scales!!! (Ditto on the 'Merry Christmas to me...')

Backstory: I tend toward medium/even larger folders. But the Dragonfly 2 (black FRN) blew me away. "What can't I do with this thing?!" In search of a gentleman's version, I bought the G10 version. Excellent G10 texture (perfection!)... but something was "off" for me. It took me a while to figure it out, but it was the color. In my view, it just wasn't gentleman-knife like. Don't get me wrong, I like it! In fact, I would love a Manix 2 or Manix 2XL in that color... and several other knives, too. But for a suit-friendly blade? Missed the mark for me. I sold it, and resigned myself to thinking a gentleman's version of the Dragonfly just wasn't in the cards for me/my tastes.

I'm not even sure how I learned the Nishijin handle version existed... stumbled on it on eBay, I think. Anyway, once I saw "ZDP189," too, it pretty much shut down my higher brain functions (which would normally say "no more knives for now; save for son's college, etc."). Bought it right away. My expectations are high: I hope/expect this to be the true work-day companion for this desk-jockey/office job knife fan. I'll still be saving the larger Spydies for... everything else. :) And I'm bringing the FRN Dragonfly along on Xmas travel to see family, too.

Just found out that my brother bought me the gray Delica FFG but UPS is a little backlogged so i havent received it yet, but hey better late than never! ;-) I love the gray FRN!

Have a Matriarch 2, Manix 2 S30V with Allen Putman OD scales and a carbon fiber clip, and an etched Spin (it's real, I checked) on the way.
 
I have an original Chinook 3 in S30V on the way form a BF seller! :D I can't wait, as the Chinook was one of my "smaller" grails.

I also have preordered a super blue Stretch...Sal? When will these be out? ;)

I just ordered a Manix 2 XL, and while checking out, i saw they had a PM2 camo in stock, so i had to have that as well. :D
 
Domino should be delivered today. Been waiting on this for a while. Didn't like it when it first came out but after seeing all the rave reviews and my love of the Manix 2 and Sage knives I knew I would like this one.
