What Spydie do you have on the way???

Picked up a brand new Gayle Bradley on the form here. It was priced too good to pass up, and it gets so many good reviews I figured I should grab it.

So I'm looking forward to it coming in on Monday.

I saw your reply in that thread. Nice score! I'd imagine that should compliment your beloved Native very well!

Thanks! The asking price kinda surprised me, so I had to pull the trigger. It'll be neat to see what Spyderco's version of overbuilt feels like. My Vallotton is overbuilt, sure, but it doesn't look or feel like it. It's too pretty. :p

I'm definitely thinking about a Dragonfly Salt, though. Gotta give my Native a break...

Well it showed up today! Love this little blade! Feels very similar to a Delica in hand (good thing!). Handle is barely shorter, but usable cutting length is same. No jimping on this one. It is tooth pick pointy and tack sharp on the tip too! Don't have any other folders with blades like this so it's a welcome addition. Haven't cut anything with it yet but I have high hopes of potential for more detailed work. Dark green G10 is nice too.

Yeah I don't own any H1 either... but I do love my Dragonflies!
 
Southard and Tuff. The southard gets here tomorrow, and I've already got some Spketchen scales waiting for it. The Tuff I had for 2 days before sending it off to Cuscadi, it should be back this month. Can't wait!

The GB is a fantastic knife! Sold all of my Spydies and the plan was to only have the Gayle Bradley this year from Spyderco.

That was until I purchased a Techno off the exchange here the other night...:rolleyes:

That's what I keep hearing, so I had to find out. :) Also have a DF2 Salt coming tomorrow.

Yeah I agree, although I'd say Manix 2 still gets plenty of respect!
Maybe moreso just unwritten and through use instead. Doesn't seem to be as much of a collector piece with dozens of dedicated threads discussing rarest of steel and scale colors...
But, simply take a look through any of the photo threads and note how many Manixes are pictured, many of which look like they are used hard and often!
I think I've also seen more and more praise recently from people saying how much they love to actually CARRY the new Manix 2 LightWeight, convincing me I need to look into one! :)
 
Got mine! Expectations exceeded! My lovely wife bought it without me knowing, and then asked me to wait until the end of the month to buy it...sneaky woman!

Saw a green PM1 get pulled early from ebay today (probably wasn't near getting what seller wanted w/out setting reserve).

Got an H1 Ladyhawk on the way to me this week. It was Rit-dyed by previous owner, so not sure how I'll like that, but we shall find out. :)

Your wife is a wonderful person there, blades! Oh yeah, great knife, too :) looks great in the black and satin. Hope you get a lot of hard usage out of that Manix 2.
 
Well traded a Kershaw Leek for an Endura 4 Wave, didn't like the Emdura so now I have a VG10 Stretch that should be here tomorrow
