I've owned almost every decent brand under the sun... Maui Jims are great... Serengeti as well... Smith, Spy, Rayban, Dragon, Electric... so so IMO. I'm a raft guide and I can get most shades at 50% from mfgrs... except the best - Oakley. IMO Oakley is the only mfgr I've dealt with that actually treats their lenses as a perfect 20/20 prescription. I've been wearing Oaks since 10th grade... that's 14 years on and off. I'll never wear anything else as long as I can afford it. I don't care for a lot of their designs, but they do better every year. I currently EDC the "Crosshairs" which are great optics and fit, but not narrow enough to fit under the brim of most of my caps or whitewater helmet, The "Sweet - Strutter"... I like the brim low. I also have the Hijinx Matte black w/ polarized lenses... my favorite fitting shades of all time... still a little wide... I ocasionally wear my White Gascans, but they are a little obnoxious... which can be appropriate for me on those days... the white frames do cause a glare unfortunately. I have a funky "womens" pair on the way... I'm a funky guy... The "Grapevines" in the "bottle green" frame w/ polarized grey lenses... I'll be using them mainly for class IV-V raft guiding. I'll be stylin' like Jackie Onasis... Except with chops like "The King."
